Wilson's Writings and Metzler's Musings

As 2002 rapidly draws to a close, it's a time for both personal and professional reflection. The end of the year provides a benchmark of how we measured up in our success plans and provides an opportunity for renewed enthusiasm for our businesses. It's a time for making new plans with the exciting vision of reaching new levels of success and excellence in the year to come.

As we travel the country working with firms as well as speaking and meeting with many of you at conferences, we find that most firms spend their energies (and substantial money) continually seeking that one "silver bullet" that will cure their ills, rather than adapting an ongoing process for success or improvement.

We see the critical need for a reality-based process that makes a real difference in the ongoing improvement for firms and their principals. We have adapted the lessons we've gained and have developed the ConvergenceCoaching Success Methodology. For more information on our methodology, which includes a unique automated self-assessment tool and a variety of fixed fee services, visit our website at www.convergencecoaching.com.

We have dedicated this issue of Coaching Concepts to ideas you can use in your planning processes as you prepare for the New Year. Each of the articles provides a perspective on an idea that we think you should consider, including our Top Ten Tips for New Year Planning. We're sharing these ideas to help you realize your vision and "light you up" on the significant possibilities you and your team have in the year to come.

The ConvergenceCoaching, LLC team wishes you, your family and loved ones and your colleagues a joyous holiday season. We want you to know that we truly cherish our relationship with you and that you have made a real difference for us in many ways this past year.

Best of success to you in 2003!

Jen and Jim
